I LOVE this app. Its really easy to use and even if your confused theres little videos to help you. Great customer support, I emailed Fifty Three and they responded within the day! I have one complaint, as far as I can tell there is only one font for typing text. Other then that this is my favorite app and the first ill download if/when i get a new phone.

I love this application and my pencil. Im an amateur but its super fun to draw and create. Thanks so much. Hauke is a beloved rockstar.

This app is amazing and the price is great as well. Cant understand why people are complaining about the price. Most apps are too cheap anyway. Back to Paper. This is my favorite on the iPad Pro plus the Pencil. Awesome work and keep it up. Love it

smudge no longer working with latest version ( when using apple pencil )

This app is amazing. Its one of the best apps on the iPad Pro for use with the Apple Pencil. It used to be, that when you were using the Apple Pencil, moving your finger on the screen would blend the colors you put down. This was a very useful feature, especially when using the water colors. However, as of this update, that feature seams to be missing, and now your finger just draws additional lines. Please fix this! Ill change the review to 5 stars if this feature can be re-enabled.

Love the app but not the price. $8 is not much nowadays but compared to pricing on other apps, its a bit steep. A lot more people would buy the essentials kit if it was about $3 cheaper. For $4.99 I would buy it. A feature I would like to request is group collaboration. I use this app to quickly draw software architecture diagrams while in meetings. A shared sketch board with group collaboration would be great. Lastly, a cool Mythbusters style blueprint book would be a sweet addition...

Great app, love it, have been using it daily. The reason for 2 stars: Update this morning, the new ink tool looks so plain on my ipad pro. Although its fast, but I strongly prefer the old one. The ink pen is main reason i choose this app other than the one comes with notes. Now it just looks like the notes, lose the subtlety for years.

The app is perfect I write in it but it is kind of dull without any TEXT colors and Text textures.

I absolutely love Paper! I make all my to do lists look gorgeous... I can draw beautiful artwork and immediately save it as a PDF. Everything about this app makes me happy! You will not be disappointed if you download this beautifully crafted app.

crashes on startup after update on ipad pro 12"

Update kills app on iPad Pro. Cant open. Freaking out.

Reviewers complaining about losing smudge with pencil: go look in the settings. Its optional now, which is great cause I hated it.

I love this app, but I just wish it had a syncing feature with my phone. I trade between my iPad and iPhone really often and its annoying that I cant download it on my phone because it doesnt sync and I use it on my iPad more.

The eraser on their pencil almost never works. On the rare occasion it does work, the pencil tip then stops working until you restart the app. If you check troubleshooting, you find the instructions do not reflect the latest version of iOS. It is clear these people do not care about you. Why should you care about what they are selling?

Don’t get me wrong, I love this app and will change back to 5 stars if they fix this, but the new ink/pen on the iPad pro after you update looks completely different, too light and dull. Please change back to how this used to look - I’ve got other drawings that need this to stay consistent or I’m really in trouble here.

What happened to the ink pen tool (write)? It was so much better before update. It has loss its uniqueness. It looks dull. (When using with Apple Pencil)

Adding my voice to the call for a reinstatement of the old ink tool functionality on iPad Pro -- the slight widening of the ink flow at the beginning and end of each stroke was the reason I chose paper over other note taking apps (even going so far as to endure the lack of constant sync, which is a feature Im eager for). Anyway, the look of the new tool screams OneNote. Please change it back!

Update: Smudge is now a setting for while using Pencil. I admit to not being too sharp for not being able to find the settings icon. Stumbled on it on accident. ------ This update broke one of my favorite features of this app and Apple Pencil, the app knowing when my finger is on the screen while using Apple Pencil. Very useful for blending and much easier to zoom as well. I like to zoom in while using colored pencils, now its very hard to do so without the app thinking Im trying to make a pencil line with my finger. Also my wife did some wonderful things with water colors with the old functionality. Please fix and the app is 5 star again!

Latest update completely ruined a great app. I cant open the app anymore. I deleted and reinstalled it but non-thing. So please fix soon or please refund my money that I paid.

Oh my god.... Worst update ever, killed the sexiness on the ink. Its now looking like a pencil.
